Introduction to Theory and Methods of Social Work

There are relationships between (empirical) theories, action theories,
and practical action. A process model of social work can be defined.
Furthermore, various methodological movements exist within social work.
All of this can also be related to the central value of social work, a
value established in the so-called professional profile.
Case studies can be discussed against this background, clarifying what
pertains to, for example, social science, methods, and professional skills.
