Women's and Men's Social Care

Men and women have different and often unequal positions in our society.
Several explanatory and change models have been developed to address
these differences.
These differences are important for the social worker’s work, and
therefore it is crucial that they understand their own ideas, values,
and norms regarding masculinity and femininity.
Therefore, various topics can be explored, such as “masculinity and
femininity as constructs,” “ethics of care,” “power,” and
“communication,” and reflected on with colleagues (with or without
reading relevant literature).
